Library is open and immense source of information. Namobuddha School has two concepts of Library. Classroom library is basically meant for Primary where level wise literature i.e. books, periodicals and students made journals are made available. Senior classes use resource library and e-library for exploring information, reading for pleasure and developing reading habits. Students can borrow books from the library. Students have to make entry of reading in the log which will be notified to parents.

We take pride in having dedicated, experienced and enthusiastic teachers who conduct the most of our activities, the school day offering a broad balanced curriculum. This school has ongoing teacher induction programs for professional development. Child as well as adult development is the prime concern of this school. This school comprises trained, dedicated and professional teaching and non-teaching staff. Namobuddha School conducts training-cum-orientation program for the new teaching faculty as well as administrative human resources every year before the commencement of academic session. Apart from that, refresher sessions and teachers-workshops are regular for all teachers. They are trained in curriculum development, teaching pedagogy, assessment, psychology, classroom management, parental involvement, communication system etc.
The school makes a team of Committee as Action & Teamwork Program (ATP). Representatives from parents of all the grades and school management including vice principal comprise the team which facilitates in smooth functioning and carrying out specific tasks as per the requirement of the school. Parents are encouraged to serve ATP. Parents can visit their children’s classroom. This visit will give ideas of what their wards do at school and how he or she interacts with peers and teachers. This school offers varieties of workshops on parenting issues for parents of this school.
The school continually monitors students’ progress. Each students’ portfolio is maintained and further discussed with students as well as parents. This gives a record of your ward’s progress and also reinforces the message that his/her work is valuable and worth keeping. All students have terminal and annual reports as Parents- Teachers Meeting (PTM). Ongoing assessment system is linked with Terminal and Annual Examination. As part of national policy and global practice, school uses grading system of evaluation. Besides, school may also integrate international testing system in Maths, Science and English to gauge their level in regional and global standard. As and when necessary school may also ask you to visit the school, this can offer an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress with his/her teachers.
Students will have opportunities to go out of school to expand their knowledge and experience. Educational visits provide a direct firsthand experience to make learning more meaningful. Accessing and analyzing information through these activities provides stimulus to work in the classroom. It surely enhances their curiosity and imagination which makes the learning exciting and sustainable. As students are admitted to school, we ask for parental permission to allow the children to work outside school in supervised groups. Besides regular educational visits, field trips students also are taken to tours outside the valley annually to study closely about history, geography, food, customs, festivals, religions, economic and development activities of that place.
School provides first aid for minor illness or injury during normal school day. Trained/ Registered Nurse will be available in the school for primary health care/first aid of both physical and mental health. In all the other cases, the treatment or further investigation of health status of the pupil is the responsibility of the parents who will be informed as soon as possible if their children get sick. Students who have behaviour problem, learning difficulty, sudden changes in normal pattern of socialization and other psychological problems; School provides psychological counseling at first from the school. Parents might be informed or called as and when necessary.
Apart from Theme-Based Co-curricular Activities, School conducts varieties of Extra-Curricular and Sports Activities during regular school hour and after school. These vary with the time of the year, need of the curriculum and interest of the community.
